Mission

To promote membership, scholarship, educational advancement, career opportunities, and social and economic support throughout the nursing journey. We aim to serve as a voice for a diverse nursing workforce to ensure equal access to education, recruitment, and retention.

Vision

To be a nursing chapter committed to being inclusive, promoting health equity, ensuring diverse access, and eliminating health disparities for all individuals who present for health care services.

Values

Introducing our Four Cornerstones: Housing, Transportation, Childcare, and Education. These cornerstones represent our strategic, comprehensive approach to providing targeted assistance, ensuring that no aspect of a student's life is overlooked in their pursuit of a nursing career.

A New Direction, A New Future

These targeted interventions are not just about addressing barriers but about breaking them down. By mitigating the challenges identified in recent research, MCNBNA empowers Black and Brown nursing students to achieve their educational and career goals. Our goal is not just to foster a more equitable and inclusive nursing workforce but to pave the way for a future where our members can thrive in their chosen nursing field of practice.
